![]() It is 2 weeks on the job organized by one of the instructors to work for 2 weeks. ![]() One thing that draws people into it is that, unlike the Network option, they do have job practicum in their schedule (ofc it got cancel last 2 years). It may have a more limited job area but still have structure cabling and CCNA Network training. Radio option focuses more on Wireless sides of things such as 5G and short & long-range RF. This option does cover more grounds and might be easier to look for jobs. The Network option focuses more on the traditional phone system and covers more ground in modern communication techs like VoIP and CCNA networking. ![]() Our program instructors also just started a LinkedIn group to help our students to connect to the industry.īeware of the 2 options in 2nd year. Jobs are there just whether you apply or not. Recently some Home Automation companies also express interest in our program graduates too. Do some simple job search online (like LinkedIn and Indeed) you can find quite a bit of Telcom technican, Structure Cabling tech, Network tech, Fibre Optic tech, VoIP tech, Install & Repair tech, Electronic tech, and Radio tech posts. I will say the pandemic definitely boosts the needs for Telcom and 5G structures. I am currently in the 2nd year of the program (Network Option) and about to graduate at end of May.
